Several years ago, after a phone conversation with a discouraged pastor, I told Claudia that I’d like to write an easy-to-read book that God might use to encourage believers--especially pastors and wives--about a hundred pages long, with personal anecdotes, a bit of humor, and remedies to common ministry maladies that make preachers want to throw in the towel.

I finally got ‘er done and am grateful that Journey Forth Publishing, a division of Bob Jones University Press, has recently published it. Claudia wrote the last chapter to encourage ministry wives. An unhappy pastor’s wife often produces a miserable pastor, so her chapter is worth the price of the book. All royalties are assigned to Press On! Ministries, to help us get a plethora of churches planted in the USA before we get to go home. We pray that many will read it when they need it most, and decide to press on.
